We are your single point of contact to take care of your home and make sure it is ready for your arrival. When you are away, we are here to give you peace of mind that your investment is taken care of. Our Property Management Division is a leader in the industry for the care of both residential and commercial properties.


Cape Associates has been providing home property watch inspections since the 70’s. Our Home Watch Inspectors make sure that your investment is professionally cared for.

Year Round Service includes:

  • Affordable and thorough interior and exterior home property checks on a weekly or bi-weekly basis
  • Storm checks after extreme weather conditions during contract period
  • Thermostat, fuel level and other systems checked at each inspection
  • 24/7 emergency response. (An additional charge may be required.)
  • Property Watch log kept and updated at your home
  • Emergency sticker placed in a highly visible location
  • Fall and Spring checklists sent out to each customer

Property Inspection & Management

For properties such as a shopping plazas, office complexes, churches, medical buildings or legal offices, we provide thorough weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly property inspections of the exterior and interior of the building. We check for broken windows, leaky faucets and other items in need of attention.

For seasonal buildings such as restaurants, we do regular off-season inspections while the building is vacant. After all property inspections, we contact the owners to notify them about any issues.


Financial Management

For residential and commercial condominium buildings, we work with the association to maintain the condition of the building, collect condo fees, attend association meetings, negotiate vendor contracts and arrange for needed repairs. We deliver bookkeeping services, financial accounting and reporting for the board and association.

Capital Expenditure Forecasting Tool

For a very reasonable fee, we assess and evaluate the building and all of its components, including: heating systems, roofing and siding, restrooms, painting, etc.  We estimate and advise how many years each component has left of its useful life.  This tool provides the cost to repair and/or replace these components, taking the “guess-work” out of budgeting and forecasting.
