Harwich Port Commons

Change is in the air in beautiful Harwich Port! The days of the strip mall are coming to a close and emerging are the more appealing mixed-use retail spaces that provide both retail and residential living opportunities. The striking Harwich Port Commons offers that perfect blend of convenience and atmosphere. The project team consisting of the builders at Cape Associates, Stony Point from Charlottesville, VA as developer and the Commonwealth Group at William Raveis Real Estate as realtor broke ground in January and is scheduled to complete the building phase in early January 2019.

The idea of a “walkable downtown” is not a new concept, but one that offers residents the convenience of living within walking distance of shopping areas, while also offering convenient condo living right in the village. Harwich Port’s vibrant Main Street village offers an active and fun vacation atmosphere with shops, dining and eateries, each with their own unique appeal.

Rich Bryant is Executive Vice President at Cape Associates and oversees the project. “Harwich Port Commons is soon to be one of the most sought-after residential and retail locations on Cape Cod. What better place to have a business than right downtown? What better place to live than right in the middle—and within walking distance—of just about everything? It’s the perfect location,” says Bryant.

Sept 1 progress shot

The ground-level floor of the Harwich Port Commons offers four spacious areas for retail shops or offices, each with over 1,100 square feet of space—just the right size and fit to blend in with the surrounding retail shops, while standing out with its own brand of curb appeal. The upper floor offers four beautiful, luxury condominiums, each with its own balcony, and all convenient to the village and surrounding area.

Harwich Port village also hosts a summer festival featuring live music, food and shopping that further enhances the summer fun. Biking, golf and fishing are all available in this popular spot.  With four retail storefront spaces on the ground level, and four luxury condominiums above, Harwich Port Commons is adding an exciting footprint to the charming and growing Main Street district.
