Featured Employee: Paul Dunn, Painting Division Manager
Paul Dunn has been managing painting projects at Cape Associates since 2011. Division Manager out of the Yarmouthport office, Paul is an expert in color, materials and industry best-practices.
Before Paul came to Cape Associates he owned an advertising photography business in Boston for 22 years. His experience in photography lends itself well to Paul’s keen sense of color, texture and space. Paul’s insistence on using top-quality materials and brands is one of the reasons that the Cape Associates painting division has expanded so quickly in the last 5 years. “I like being the detective,” Paul says. “If there’s a historic structure that needs paint repair, I enjoy peeling back the layers of history to discover what has caused the issue, what materials to use to create a lasting solution, and then matching colors with what’s available on the paint market today.”
When he’s not making Cape Cod beautiful with paint, Paul does not sit still. He spends much of his time with his 26 year old daugher, Haley. Together they hike, bike and are always looking for the next adventure. Paul is also an avid fisherman and can often be found on a boat or on the shore chasing striped bass. Paul also finds time to mentor others through the CCYP Mentor Exchange, now in its third year. He is also president of his BNI Chapter and has been a member of Toast Masters for 11 years.
