With the fall and winter approaching, many of our long-time customers are leaving their homes for the season with the peace of mind that Cape Associates will be looking after their homes in their absence. Our Property Management Department has been watching some of our customer’s homes for many, many years during the winter. The Department has grown to include homes from Sandwich to Provincetown. We continue to deliver a high quality service that can be tailored to any homeowner’s needs.
The Home Property Watch program offers a weekly or biweekly inspection program. Every homeowner is provided a primary point of contact who thoroughly inspects the interior and exterior of their home and performs storm inspections. This primary point of contact is also available to answer all questions concerning their home and to take care of requests. That is the simple part of the Property Management Department.
What some long-time customers and new customers may not know is what other services we provide. Our new motto, ‘Arrive and Enjoy’, could also read ‘Leave and Enjoy’. In the fall we are available to assist in putting your home to rest for the winter. This may mean putting outdoor furniture away, taking out window A/C units and cleaning the gutters. These are only a few of the tasks we perform. Every home is unique and their needs vary. The department wants every homeowner to feel their home is safe for the winter and when you leave the Cape, you leave with peace of mind knowing this.
